Help
Sign in
Open Accounts and tap Add Outlook account. MoaMail shows a short code; tap Copy code and open sign-in page, paste the code on Microsoft's page, and sign in there. Come back to MoaMail when Microsoft says you are done. Your password goes only to Microsoft; MoaMail keeps an encrypted sign-in token on the phone. You can add several accounts.
All Mail
The main list shows new mail from every folder, newest first, except Junk, Deleted Items, Sent, Drafts and Outbox. The small label on each row is the folder the message is in. Use the Unread and Flagged chips to narrow the list, and the account chips when you have more than one account. Search all folders searches the whole mailbox.
Folders
Tap the folder label on any message to see just that folder.
Hiding folders
Open a message, tap the menu, and choose Hide this folder from All Mail. Hidden folders are listed on the Accounts screen under Hidden from All Mail, where you can show them again.
Swipe actions and selection
Swipe a message left or right to archive, delete, flag, mark read, or move it. Choose what each direction does in Settings. Long-press to select several messages. Delete moves mail to Deleted Items, and delete and move can be undone from the message that appears at the bottom of the screen.
Load images
Pictures from the internet are blocked until you tap Load images, because loading them can tell the sender that you opened the message and where you are.
Link check
Tapping a link first shows the real address it goes to. MoaMail warns you when the link text names a different site, when the address is disguised (for example lookalike letters shown as punycode, xn--), or when it is not encrypted. Open it only if the address is what you expect.
Attachments and junk
Attachments that can run code (apps, scripts, macro documents, shortcuts) ask before opening. Messages your provider marked as junk show a warning.
App lock and privacy
In Settings you can require your fingerprint, face, or screen lock to open MoaMail, and block screenshots of the app. New-mail notifications on the lock screen show only how many messages arrived. MoaMail checks for new mail about every 15 minutes.
Remove an account
On the Accounts screen, tap Remove next to the account. Its sign-in token is deleted from the phone. Your mail stays in your mailbox.
